The film ‘Wandering Pain’ is about the experience of being the child of a man who fought in Chechnya and brought home pain and fatigue, a man who feels blank, but not alive or full of energy. It is like a look from bottom up at something big and scary, an attempt to comprehend it and evaluate it. The author explores how callousness and dryness destroyed the youth and fatherhood of a man who did not choose to be in the lace where people were killed en masse, but who nevertheless survived and returned to his homeland to raise his children and prevent a new military clash from happening in their lifetime.
