Maria Neikovskaya was born in Yekaterinburg, where she was trained as a fashion designer. In 2022, she enrolled at SpbGIKiT, the feature film workshop of Dmitry Meskhiev and Alexey Zlobin. “The Scraper” is the director’s first short film.
