TATYANA ZHUKOVA
DIRECTOR'S BIO:
Tatyana was born in the village of Yanaul, Bashkortostan, on 12 April 1981. When she was 5 years old, her parents moved to Kogalym, Tyumen region, where she finished school. In 2003, Tatyana graduated from V.N. Naumov's workshop, majoring in film and TV directing. She worked as an assistant director in the theater, and then as a casting associate, casting director and the second director in film production for about 15 years. Simultaneously, she directed her own short films. In 2015, Tatyana graduated from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors, majoring in film directing (workshop under A.I. Surikova, V.P. Fokin, V.M. Alenikov). In 2017, she graduated the Courses with the film ‘Misanthrope’s Confession’ which received 12 awards at various festivals. In 2019, she studied at the production workshop. She has taught directing to children and teenagers since 2019.
