DIRECTOR'S BIO:

I was born in Voronezh. I spent my early years in an old brick dormitory house, nicknamed ‘Berlin’ by its residents. My parents divorced when I was five, and I moved to my grandparents in Kazakhstan, where I started schooling.
I moved to Moscow at the age of ten and entered a theatre studio, which awakened my interest in theatre and cinema.
Having finished school, I started working as an assistant cameraman, then graduated from Mosfilm cameraman courses. I am completing my studies at the Moscow Film School, Directing Department.
