Young director Max, obsessed with the union of art and machines, arrives in Bali to participate in the award ceremony for AI films. Suddenly cut off from the digital world, he gets lost in a real, not AI generated jungle.
Making his way through the sticky, humidity saturated tropics, Max plunges into reflections on the essence of his trade. The main uncertainty of his study is whether it is possible to make a cold algorithm generate a spark of genuine human feeling.
When the boundary between the generated reality and the real world begins to bulge at the seams, Max’s inner monologue turns from a personal confession into a desperate manifesto about the future of creativity. Max wonders what will be left of art if everything human is eradicated out of it?
