A lonely scientist, left alone on an alien planet, gets passionate about the idea of creating a friend for himself, but the experiment goes awry. Trying to correct the error, the scientist becomes increasingly frustrated, hating his creation and himself, refusing to recognise the good traits in it. The scientist has to see who his creation has become a reflection of, and who is really the freak here. Will he be able to accept his creation as it is?

Maria was born on 27 April 2001 in St.Petersburg. In 2024, she graduated from the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television, majoring in animation and computer graphics directing. She worked on the projects ‘The Road of
Worlds’, ‘Abyss’ and ‘Expat’ at ParanoidAnimationStudio as a cartoonist. She received the best student’s film award for My Sunshine at the International Animation Festival ‘Animur’ in Khabarovsk, and the Grand Prix for the animated film Freak at the interregional festival of author's animated cinema ‘Maple’ in the Altai region.
