An ironic drama unfolds in a cramped recording studio: A looser of an actor with a mellow voice and an empty wallet records a sound-track to a book about easy money and a success story ‘The Deep Vessel’, until he erupts irritated by the absurdity and stupidity of what he is reading. His tantrum escalates into a conflict with the sound engineer only for both to realize the bitterness of their frustrated hopes. They take a moment to reflect that it may be they who are the failures, and this nonsense of a book is true?

DIRECTOR’S BIO:
2012 – show director / creative producer in Alexander Tsekalo’s Sreda Production Centre. Vadim worked for the Big Difference show and other entertainment content for TV channels.
2014 – promo director of the Pyatnitsa (Friday)TV channel. He won advertising and promo awards: Promax BDA New York, Media Brand for the best identity and promo.
2016 – director of advertising and promo Channel One. Worldwide network.
Since 2017, he has been a director and creative producer of entertainment shows and series for STS, Pervy (First), Pyatnitsa (Friday), Tv3, IVI, Start, Okko, More, VK platforms.
He worked with adaptations of British shows for Russian platforms together with a London-based company, the author of the formats.
Since 2018, he has been a director and creative producer of image videos. He has developed and made creative videos, presentations and shows at conferences for Alfa Bank, Gazprom Bank, etc., Four Seasons hotel chain, Maison dellos, developers such as MR Group, Hutton, Sense, Glorax.
2024 – director and screenwriter of the full-length concert film Zhvanetsky, co-created with Evgeny Grishkovets. The film was released in 2025.
2025 – director, screenwriter and producer of the film Deep Vessel with Stoyanov and Duzhnkov. The film is participating in festivals around the world. The film has just been to Malta at Gozofest, also at Gorky Fest, and won awards and prizes at the Konik Festival.
It is the winner of the Sovremenniki project in the Rules of Life magazine.
