Burul, a rural high school student, is interested in wrestling. Her wrestling coach does not allow her to train in the boys' gym, so she practises no her own at home. Burul's father thinks that wrestling is not for girls and forbids her to practise. After several unsuccessful attempts to talk to Burul, a a young guy from a neighbouring village kidnaps her to marry her.

DIRECTOR'S BIO:

Adilet Karjoev was born on 4th of July, 1988 in Kyrgyzstan. In 2011, he received a Bachelor's degree in Radio, TV and Film Studies, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In 2019, he received a Master's degree in Journalism, majoring in Film Arts, American University of Central Asia.
Adilet produced several documentaries and feature films that have won many international film festivals. Adilet is currently teaching in the Department of TV, Film and Visual Arts at the American University of Central Asia.
