Asel Umaralieva was born in Kyrgyzstan.
She graduated from the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts named after Bubusara Beishenalieva, department of cinema and television, majoring in television and radio directing.
She has made music videos, social videos and several short documentaries, which were shown at international and national film festivals.
